I found out that the Font I really liked that I downloaded for free is, in fact, legal for me to use for my business stuff. So that's a cool thing!

- Mimosa Greer lives in Minneapolis in a wonderful old house with her two daughters, and her spice. (Plural for spouse) She has a BFA in Photography from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an AAS in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (Part of SUNY the State University of New York). She has been pursuing pottery as art, craft and recreation for about several years now and made the leap to professional potter just a few years ago. Cool. I like the drawing on the fern leaf, but here is my question ... what about showing your pottery on the business card?
ReplyDeleteOne of the things that I've noticed is that an image of the work helps me remember who the card belongs to. When I pick up a card that has no image or a drawing, a few weeks later I have a hard time remembering why I picked up that card. What was the work that I liked that belongs to that contact info. If the card has an image of the work, it is an immediate memory jog without my needing to find a computer to look up the info. Just something to think about while you are working on this.
And having said that, I do like the design.
Yeah, I am still debating about that because I agree with you. I am thinking of having a photo of my work on the back... possibly a set of the mushrooms taken outside or maybe a detail shot of a leather hard piece in progress.
