There is a lot to do to make this happen, the first two big priorities being to a) make room in the garage by moving, rearranging, and getting rid of things and b) painting or whatever I need to do before I move things. I don't know if you can really see it in the picture, but the shelving unit at the back of the photo is called "the beast". It is really poorly organized at the moment (which really means that there is a ton of unused or under-used space on it) and is going to move across the garage to a new home as soon as I finish painting behind it and seal up the leaks around the very old doors. The air conditioners will go inside into the windows of the house soon and the box fans will likely stay outside with me (but I'll be using them. There isn't as much stuff over there as it looks like. Then the next step will be painting the doors/wall on the studio side and putting up white paneling on the outside wall (less than $12 a sheet and it's already coated with something water resistant!). Two more panels will go up top in the rafters to help reflect light (and heat eventually) down. There will probably be more stuff-shuffeling and then I will be ready to move my stuff in.
